How to migrate from Pile to Vivid

Open your account with Vivid

Press the "Open a business account" button, enter the email linked to your Pile account, and follow the steps provided.
To speed up the account opening process, check the box to allow data sharing between Pile and Vivid. If you don’t, you may be asked for company data you already provided to Pile.

Transfer your money from Pile to Vivid

Once your Vivid account is opened, you will be notified via email/SMS. At that point, you can initiate a money transfer from your Pile account to Vivid and start earning 5% p.a. immediately.

The 5% annual interest rate will be available for the first 2 months after opening the Interest Account. When the promo period is over, you earn up to 3.5%*.

When adding money to your Interest Account, it is transferred to an account with Stichting Vivid Money. This account is a separate foundation designed to separate our customers’ assets from those of Vivid Money BV. This Foundation holds an Investment Account with IBKR (Ireland) Ltd. All the money added to Interest Accounts is sent there and consequently invested in a Money Market Fund (MMF) offered by Goldman Sachs Asset Management. This arrangement complies with the MiFID requirements as implemented in the Netherlands. More details can be found in our FAQs.

All funds entrusted with Vivid Money SA are safeguarded according to Luxembourg's implementation of PSD2 and EMD. Balances are protected by using a safeguarding account at the credit institution Banking Circle SA. This means that we separate our customers’ funds from our corporate funds. In the event of bankruptcy, our customers’ assets are therefore inaccessible to other creditors.

The documents you need to open a free company account depend on your company's legal form. Businesses usually have to provide the following: 1) Proof of identity of directors in the form of an identity card or passport. 2) Proof of business activity: depending on the legal form, e.g., current extract from the commercial register for corporations such as GmbH or UG.

Online registration for a Vivid digital business account usually takes about 10 minutes. First, you register an account and go through identity verification. Then we verify the company information you entered. We’ll get back to you with an update within less than 48 hours.
